Churches During Lockdown II    1 November, 2020

Hello everyone,

Today is the feast of All Saints when the church remembers and gives thanks for all those whose lives have made a difference to others. I am sure I am not alone in being thankful for the residents of Marsh Baldon, Toot Baldon and Nuneham Courtenay, for your wonderful community spirit and the difference your neighbourly actions have made over the past few months.

So it is with sadness that I am emailing to let you know that the Act of Remembrance in St Peter’s Church on Sunday 8th November will not be going ahead as planned.

However, the churches will remain open for individual prayer during lockdown and you are all welcome to use our beautiful church buildings for some time of peace, quiet and reflection in these challenging times.

I will continue to plan with hope in my heart for Christmas services but of course these will be very different this year. I will share with you details of what we can manage for Christmas in early December.

In the meantime if you or someone you know would like to have a chat, I am always available on my mobile so do give me a ring. Let’s keep in touch and let’s keep safe.

God’s blessing to you all,

Teresa x
